  Our family of 3 stayed in the Willow Cottage for a week at the end of August. There are a lot of great things about Cabins on the Point, but I don't think I'd stay at Willow Cottage again. Maybe one of the other houses on the property would be a better fit. The cottage is quaint, but some deferred maintenance. Living room sofas are tired, and covered in dingy slip covers. Water damage directly in front of shower had created a decent sized soft spot in the floor that squished underfoot every time you stepped on the bath mat. Tiles underneath the mat were sliding out of position. The Willow Cottage is right on the road, so there is a fair amount of noise from cars traveling at 35mph right outside the window -- noticeable on warm summer days with the windows open. It's the only one of the cottages on the property that is so close to the road, so I think this is unique to the Willow Cottage. On the plus side, you can walk down the front yard to the beach without having to cross the road -- a bonus for sure with kids. Great tide pools for finding sea stars and crabs. Bunnies bounding through the yard make for a fun late afternoon chase game with little kids. The kitchen is serviceable, and the linens are clean -- and beds comfortable. All in all, it's a sweet little beach just outside your front door, but it's a little pricey given the condition of the cottage and road noise. I echo the sentiments of previous posters who have indicated that the owner is very nice, attentive and helpful.
